From $120 to Innovation: A Journey to AI & Digital Transformation
In September 1990, I arrived at JFK Airport in New York with just $120 in my pocket—a young dreamer stepping into the unknown as my homeland faced invasion. I had no financial safety net, no connections, and only a high school education. But I carried something far more valuable: an unshakable determination to succeed.
High school had been a whirlwind of mischief and distractions. I wasn’t the top student, nor was I particularly focused on the future. But as graduation loomed, something inside me shifted. I realized I didn’t just want to exist—I wanted to create, lead, and make an impact. With that newfound resolve, I threw myself into my studies, earning a full scholarship for both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees and setting out to build a future beyond the limits of my past.
Life in the U.S. wasn’t easy. By day, I was a student; by night, a waiter in a small restaurant—hustling to stay afloat while proving to myself that I belonged. But every late-night study session, every shift, and every challenge only fueled my hunger for success. I wasn’t just chasing a degree—I was forging a path toward something greater.
That relentless drive led me to an extraordinary career spanning multiple industries. I refused to be confined to a single field, immersing myself in engineering, AI, telemedicine, and data analytics. I had the privilege of working with global industry leaders—AT&T (USA), CGI (Canada), Ooredoo (MEA), NCR (MEA), and mLogica (Global)—managing critical data systems and pioneering innovations in AI, robotics, cloud modernization, and smart cities. I played a key role in integrating HealthTech, WasteTech, and AgriTech, developing technology-driven solutions that drive sustainability and efficiency worldwide.
But I didn’t just want to contribute—I wanted to redefine the industry. That vision led me to found AI Doctrine, built on the belief that AI isn’t just the future—it’s the bridge between human potential and limitless innovation.
Among my proudest achievements is developing AI-driven robots for children with autism. Watching them engage, connect, and grow through technology has been life-changing—a reminder that true success isn’t measured in profits but in impact.
From AI-powered healthcare reaching underserved communities to IoT-driven farming solutions empowering farmers, my mission has always been to use innovation to solve real-world challenges. But with every advancement, I remain deeply committed to cybersecurity, transparency, and ethical AI—because shaping the future must be done responsibly.
As I look ahead, I remain driven to push boundaries, pioneer new AI applications, and build smarter, more connected cities. This journey is far from over—it's just beginning.
